Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. Provider and scope
The Customer Success Manager is provided by Max Benz, Am hohen Stein 36a, 01189 Dresden, Germany. These terms apply to your use of the website and the web application at thecustomersuccessmanager.com.
2. Businesses only
The service is offered to businesses and self-employed professionals only. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business and that you may bind it to these terms.
3. Workspaces and accounts
You create an account with your email address and a password, and then a workspace. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for the activity in your workspace, including the people you add. The number of people in a workspace is limited by your plan.
4. Plans, prices and billing
The Team plan costs $49 per month for up to 5 CSMs. The Growth plan costs $99 per month for up to 25 CSMs. Plans are billed per workspace, monthly in advance, through Stripe. A card is required at checkout. Taxes are calculated at checkout from your billing address.
Promotion codes are entered in Stripe Checkout. The Black Friday code BLACKFRIDAY26 makes the first two monthly billing periods cost $0. From the third month the regular price of your plan applies unless you cancel before then.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime in the billing portal, which you open from Settings in the app. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Payments for periods that have started are not refunded unless the law requires it.
6. Your data
You keep all rights to the content you enter. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter the personal data of your customers and colleagues. How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, try to access other workspaces, overload the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend a workspace that violates these terms or fails to pay.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change features and these terms with reasonable notice by email or in the app. If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law. For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual duties our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise we are not liable for slightly negligent breaches.
10. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Dresden.
